Last week, I started this petition to save Wilderness Discovery Resort for the disabled in Shebandowan, Ontario. Might have been a bit of a long shot, but I really believe that the sale of the property can be halted. Nearly 600 of you agree with that. You are the ones driving this petition, my motivation, and inspiration. It seems pretty apparent that many of you are as jacked up about this as I am. I spent this evening with the Super Bowl on in the background and pushed this story from Winnipeg to Sault Saint Marie and from Saint Cloud, Minnesota to Kenora. TV, radio, print, online, whatever I could think of. If you're so inspired, you could follow up by contacting your area media outlets and increasing the volume by sharing your concerns. Not to bang a tin cup, but there is an opportunity to greatly increase our exposure by donating to Change.org under "Promote This Petition". They will forward it to other subscribers and give them the opportunity to sign and share it, too. I would be honoured to associate myself with such caring souls. We are kindred spirits that are pursuing justice and fighting those that need us and this unique resort for disabled North Americans, veterans, children, and families. If we can reach the decision makers, and they hear our story, how couldn't we be victorious? Here's hoping my inbox is full and my phone rings often this week. It has been a great seven days.
