"Brexit backer Kate Hoey MP answers critics amid by-election calls"

London SE1 has posted an interview with Ms Hoey asking her for her views on our petition calling on her to trigger a by-election due to her not representing her constituency and campaigning with the likes of Farage and Galloway. According to Ms Hoey the referendum was a UK wide vote rather than just a constituency one. She then compares herself with Alan Johnson MP due to him backing remain while his constituency voted to leave the EU. Finally she flaunts the idea that Vauxhall most likely is more eurosceptic than the wider Lambeth area. In my opinion she is making this far worse for herself. Rather than striking a conciliatory tone she is becoming more and more adversarial. We need to continue the campaign to encourage Ms Hoey to resign and trigger a by-election, by all means she can stand again but we should have the right to choose a representative that represents the people of Vauxhall.
