As of June 1st there is an expired name reservation with the state, no records of incorporation at the Tuscaloosa County, Alabama probate office, and no filed 990 form for AAW. As of today Stacy Ritter Jordan has been fined $200 for 6 animals on 2 separate occasions in violation of the Northport City ordinance. She was noted to adopt from Polk County Georgia in order to avoid the regulations set forth for rescues. Stacy has openly stated that she keeps kittens in a shed behind her home. This shed is reported to have no AC. This is also the shed that a pit bull was stored in for days due to behavioral problems. Stacy took in 8 puppies from a dirt road. 2 of which died from parvo. These dogs were being fostered by her for Sandi Paws Rescue in Wisconsin. Sandi Paws has been seen commenting on other dogs along with Stacy, one of which was free dogs on a garage sale page in another county. In the past Stacy is responsible for leaving numerous animals with a foster without a home visit or even having an address. The person fostering was previously fostering and had two fosters removed due to missing important vet appointments and was later found with horrible home conditions. AAW was made aware of the conditions of this home, yet still did no home visit prior to allowing her to foster. This resulted in a hoarding situation where 29 dogs and 30 cats were removed. The foster was charged by Stacy for animal cruelty and the charges were dismissed due to Stacy also being at fault. 3 dogs died in that home and Stacy still did not visit. Stacy allowed a known lab breeder to adopt a lab puppy prior to being neutered. As of March this dog known as Bear was still not neutered. Suzy, a pit bull found in Holt with a fracture of the hip was held for months before surgery was done allowing the hip to become deformed. The dog was pictured playing with two other large dogs in Stacy's backyard with a new incision. This dog was shuffled around while awaiting surgery, allowed to become pregnant requiring surgery to abort the puppies, then finally received surgery. Stacy claims her cousin adopted Suzy, yet all pictures and posts related to Suzy was deleted. Not one photo has surfaced of this dog after the post surgical pictures were made. Stacy has on three separate occasions picked up purebred dogs claiming they were neglected. One was a silver lab and two were shih tzus. One shih tzu was removed from her home after the owner went to Northport Police Department. This dog was taken to Metro Animal Shelter and claimed by the rightful owner. The silver lab's owner was threatened with large vet bills and surrendered the dog to AAW. No surrender form was produced. The other shih tzu was also surrendered according to posts Stacy made. Stacy and AAW has been reported to the Secretary of State's office, IRS, Attorney General's office, Northport Animal Control, local DAs office and the ABC board (because of a wine tasting without proper permits). She is currently being investigated due to the complaint at the Attorney General's office for charitable fraud. Please stop Stacy Ritter Jordan and the Alliance for Animal Welfare from rescuing, pulling or soliciting funds.
