Greetings supporters, Based on feedback from the community, we are updating the petition language to very specific around the demand to close the Salvation Army Men's Shelter on North Main. Many people have shared very powerful testimonials of their frightening or dangerous experiences due to the conditions of lawless in our community that are, in part, a result of lack of concern the Salvation Army has had for the impact of their shelter on our neighborhood. We will be sharing some of these experiences in testimony at City Hall (901 Bagby St) this upcoming Tuesday June 7th at 2pm. If you would like to attend, we would welcome you coming to share your experiences!
