'Songs of Praise' is under attack at the BBC, It is regularly shuffled to odd timings, to have less audience watching it. For a programme that had for several years programmed for viewing at 6pm on Sundays.
On Sunday, December 3, 2017 it was scheduled for 4.00pm. The following Sunday, December 10, 2017 it was scheduled for 3pm. Come Sunday, December 17, 2017 it is schedule for viewing at 2.15pm.
These are deliberate attempt to make less people watch it, so it would have less audience and the justification for less funding and altimately being axed. Needless to emphasize the fact that the Christian faith is under attack, even in the United Kingdom and every now and then, a lot of people in 'authority' try to whittle down it's influence. I call on the Culture Secretary, Ms Karen Bradley to pls call to order, both the BBC Director General and the Head of Religious programme, Ms. Fatima Salaria. The programme should be restored to it's glorious time of 6pm and never toyed with again.
