I woke up this morning to 248 signatures. At every ask, you’ve stepped up; read, signed, shared AND it’s working.
So, I’ll ask once more. Do you think we could get to 300 by 3pm? That’d be ~150 signatures per day.
You see, if the Council passes this resolution today, another way to send a message is to gather 3,500 signatures over 30 days to put it to a vote. A 150 signature average easily gets us there. And, we have a coalition of organizations ready to do that work.
The new City Council needs to hear from the people who voted them into office about what matters to them. You’ve said loud and clear that public education is an important part of our city too. It’s time for the Mayor and Council to properly develop IT as a one of the tools to attract businesses and residents to Kansas City.
So, what do you say, can we do this Kansas City?
