WOW! In about 24 hours we have obtained over 150 signatures on our petition. Thank you for being one of those persons! While this is a non-binding referendum, we want to demonstrate strong support from Kankakee County residents for a 1/4 cent mental health tax. Many of you from Kankakee County are showing up with addresses outside of the County. Therefore, if you have signed the petition and live in Kankakee County, please put your zip code in the Comments section so that we can correct the record.

Our goal is now to get 250 signatures by tomorrow morning! Please continue to share this via email or text. But, do not put it on social media until after the Kankakee County Board Executive Committee has made a decision.
