LOS MÉDICOS VOLADORES __________ THE FLYING DOCTORS Gold Country Chapter P.O. Box 6467 Auburn, CA 95604 To whom it may concern January 11, 2016 My name is Thomas Palmer and I am the founder of the Gold Country Chapter of Los Medicos Voladores, “The Flying Doctors”. We are a charitable 501© 3 organization that is dedicated to providing quality health care to the people of rural Mexico living in remote areas where such care is not available. We achieve this by organizing medical teams of volunteers and flying in small aircraft to remote airfields in Mexico where we provide free clinics for all people. We have no paid staff and all participants in these trips share the costs equally, including the air transportation. Pilots donate the use of their airplanes, their skills and time to accomplish these missions. Dave and Elaine Albright have long been an integral part of our organization. The loss of use of their airplane and their participation has greatly limited our organization’s ability to provide medical missions to those in need. The members of our group support the Albright’s journey to justice.
