A five month year old puppy in Kaikohe, New Zealand has died after suffering multiple skull fractures and smashed teeth when a drunk 53 year old man stuck this puppy multiple times with a hammer.

The injuries were so serious the puppy had to be put down

 This is absolutely disgusting and heart breaking and this man derserves severe justice.

The 53 year old was arrested and appeared in the Kaikohe District Court on Monday 10 July where he was charged with cruelty/ill-treatment of an animal and breach of bail.

The maximum penalty for wilful ill-treatment of an animal is five years' imprisonment or a fine of $100,000 and will reappear in court on July 18. 

 We want him to suffer the maximum penalty for his crimes against this puppy and believe he should be punished to the maximum under NZ Law.

5 years jail we believe is no where near enough punishment for what he has done, but this is the maximum for this crime we want him to get this and more
