Kantai Collection has spiked in popularity in recent times, and more people around the world have taken interest to it. It is gaining a rapidly growing Western fanbase, however Western access is somewhat limited due to the Japan-only site the game is hosted on. This has led to many going through much hassle to actually get into the game by bypassing the Japan-only boundaries. Since it is growing so popular, localizing it and making it openly available to Western audiences can help to expand its publicity and popularity even more. That, and to my knowledge, earnings of Kantai Collection being exclusive to Japan are not as great as they could be. By expanding, income would increase exponentially through the forms of payment available in the F2P game.

I think I speak for most non-Japanese players when I say that while we may be able to find our way around the game after playing it, it's still not as great as if it were to be if the actual game was localized and openly available to us in the first place. Hopefully this petition will allow us to voice our opinion and the matter and also to put forward our desire to have this wonderful series made better available to us!
