From Séamus: Hi K9 Mattie supporters! I just wanted to remind you of how collectively powerful you are. We currently have 224,000 signatures (and rising) on our petition – this is about 100 times the number of currently reported coronavirus cases in the United States, and about 70-80,000 more than the number of cases in the world (as of today).

In addition, our fundraiser (on GoFundMe and PayPal) to buy our beloved Mattie back from PWP / MSA Security is well on its way to reaching its goal. We are 64.5% and rising at the moment, because we have the momentum thanks to you!

All this is crucial because we keep open communication with you and tell you not only what that company did to our family by tearing Mattie away, but their many misdeeds, some of which are grave matters of national public interest.

Many people, some of whom I know personally, who could have been in a position to expose PWP / MSA have been silenced through Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs). It is one of the company’s favorite tools of power.

I have long since come to logically plausible conclusions about PWP / MSA Security’s corporate behavior with a thought process based on the scientific method. In short, you gather and observe data, then formulate hypotheses which account for the data and make predictions. These predictions are tested against new data, and the hypotheses are revised accordingly, if need be.

It seems clear that the company’s actions fit neatly into behavior predicted by two of my hypotheses:

1) PWP / MSA Security wants to keep their immoral activities secret at all cost (from clients, the public, the government, etc.).

2) PWP / MSA Security are vindictive and vengeful bullies by nature.

Lawsuits are what they know. Threats, intimidation, and actual retaliation are the tools they use to ensure conformity and silence at the workplace. Those who continue to work for them are enveloped in a climate of fear because nobody wants to go through what they put Dr. Karen Iovino through, or Joe Tallini, or me, or numerous other ‘examples’. I know this both from investigative research and very personal experience.

My subjective impression is that they gloat in the diabolical satisfaction of knowing they brought a little bit more misery into the world. I am not exaggerating; I do not know what other plausible explanation can account for their habitual corporate behavior.

She exposed secretly PWP / MSA Security sending dogs to abuse and death in Jordan and other countries in the Middle East in a taxpayer funded program. The company turned her life upside down in retaliation. You can read about Joe Tallini’s heartbreaking experience with the company here, and on the link at the bottom of this update.

Far be it from the company to practice honorable ethics, to respect their employees’ human dignity, or to treat their innocent dogs who earn them a lot of money as anything more than disposable machines. Perhaps they would get more out of people who work for them and avoid the increasing public awareness of their misdeeds if they just cleaned up their act. They could start with some simple acts of good will: Give Valiant back to the Tallini family. Give Mattie back to my family. “You catch more bees with honey than with vinegar.” Can you please just do the right thing guys? Is it really so hard?

“I hope it is becoming apparent to all of you wonderful K9 Mattie supporters that it is in PWP / MSA’s cultural DNA to shroud their unethical activities in a veil of secrecy, and to retaliate with venom against those who attempt to bring them to justice.” I wrote those words for a previous update, and it is as true now as it ever was.

Despite PWP / MSA being so vindictive, we have no desire to be vindictive ourselves. Holding PWP / MSA Security’s feet to the fire is a simple matter of doing the right thing, of holding powerful people accountable.

And at the end of the day, WE JUST WANT OUR DOG BACK. So we will carry on standing up for right against wrong, for good against evil. We will continue on until Mattie comes home and we can move on with our lives.

1) THE FUNDRAISER (links below). Make a donation to Bring K9 Mattie Home through GoFundMe or PayPal. We almost two-thirds of the way to our goal! Every penny goes to Mattie. We are offering to buy her back from the company for their stated price of what it cost to train Mattie, along with any associated costs. In addition, MSA has a habit of legally turning over the dogs to their handlers when the dogs are physically broken down. All medical expenses have to be borne by the handler’s family. Maybe it’s not right, but that’s how they work.

2) CONTACTING THE PWP / MSA BOSSES. Send an email or give a call or text to the corporate bosses through the means of contact listed below.

They don’t know how to handle you; they know the public eye is on them. Every email, text, and phone call counts.

3) SPREAD THE WORD! If share what you think of MSA and PWP on Google Reviews, or simply tell your friends and family, I believe the positive effect would end up being exponential.

And since MSA-trained K9s being sent overseas to abuse and death (read here) is a matter of national public interest and your tax dollars, contact your Congress members – Representatives and Senators – about the fraud that PWP / MSA Security is pulling on the American people.
