Following the update regarding Oasis's decision to terminate their bid to take over Winterbourne International Academy, I just wanted to thank you once again for your signature. Although it is not clear what caused Oasis to make this decision, I'm almost certain that this petition would have played a part in their deliberations and for that I have you all to thank. Even though this has been a great victory for the future of our school, I am still keen to stress the fact that we should not settle for the least worse option. The staff and students still deserve to be run by an organisation which meets their requirements and can create a high quality learning and working environment where the school can continue to progress. Oasis cancelling their bid is not the end of this campaign. So, once again I feel the need to ask you to continue to show your support for this very worthy cause by sharing this petition amongst your friends and family as well as raising awareness of what this excellent Academy requires to succeed further. We have won one battle but why settle for an offer which may not provide the high standard of leadership this school deserves? Thank you again for your support.
