Our organization, Raise Ur Paw, a Canadian Federally Incorporated Not-For-Profit, is organizing and presenting this "MARCH FOR SEALS" (March 20th- 27th) as an imperative and urgent action in demanding the attention and active role of the Government of Canada and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to protect the lives of these sentient beings (seal species) from the inhumanity and cruelty that is linked with the process of this needless and dying industry and to rethink their stand upon this controversial issue. As we rapidly approach another annual commercial seal cull, we are counting upon the support and backing from compassionate individuals and organizations, like yourselves, to become empowering and strong roles and voices in this rally to combat against: * The threat and victimizations that this industry inflicts upon these sentient beings (bludgeoning or shooting them in the head with such tools as hakapiks, clubs or rifles) even pups as young as approximately 3 months old. While also extending the global reach to the Government of Canada that we will no longer have our outcries and outrage against this annual seal cull ignored (including the evidence such as documentation, graphic images, diminishing markets for seal products, and the bans from major markets internationally on the importation of such products.) This reality and blemish to the country of Canada's reputation can no longer be permitted and excused --- It is time that we say enough is enough and make the imperative stand necessary to achieve this historic step in finally ending the annual commercial seal hunt once and for all --- Because if we don't speak and stand up against this inhumane cull of life, who will? When we unite as a world, anything is possible --- we unite to seek the end of the dog/cat meat trade, to ban captivity of the innocent lives used as entertainment props, the horrific testing of animals and so many other countless issues around the globe that sentient beings endure and are subjected too on a daily basis.
