It is with this global movement - "MARCH TO SAVE THE SEALS" - that we hope to demonstrate the empowering message that we, as humanity, will no longer accept the Canadian Governments involvement, through financial subsidies and the allowance of this display of inhumanity to continue, and that their attempts to keep this dying industry on the needless life support can no longer be tolerated. Although over the years, individuals and organizations worldwide have fought with much dedication and determination to end this annual seal cull --- in which has caused many major markets to place bans upon the importation of seal products and establish huge decrease in the market for seal -- the Canadian Government still refuses to acknowledge and take action against the inhumanity of such a horrific seal cull. WE CAN NO LONGER BE IGNORED! It is our hope and belief that this annual MARCH TO SAVE THE SEALS, will flourish and extend the reach further to gain the attention and actions of the Canadian Government, and that it will achieve the necessary support and participation to finally find solution to this issue, make the difference needed to establish a kinder and compassionate world and future, and play a major role in making the annual commercial seal hunt a thing of the past... we can do this together!
