Dear friends and supporters of Standard Time
It’s that dreaded time of year when just as we started to see the light in the morning and can wake with the sun, and the clocks jump forward an hour. No more sunrise at a reasonable time. Now we have to wait until late April or May before the days lengthen and we see an early sunrise again. This unnecessary and unnatural time manipulation needs to stop. Mexico stopped, why can’t Canada?
What if we send a message as a protest that we will not change our clocks and simply stay on Standard Time. We can show the United States that we will decide for ourselves to stay on healthy natural time. We don’t need artificially bright evenings that don’t allow children to sleep and we don’t need to risk people’s lives when they drive and take transit in the dark on Monday morning.
Please send the petition to everyone on social media and let’s stand together and stop the clock change.
