Dear Mr. Lütke, Shopify is currently supporting the alt-right movement in the United States, and we were shocked to find out your company directly supports Donald Trump's "Make America Great Again" e-commerce store. You have defended your decision to support the alt-right because you believe in "free speech". The problem though is Shopify is headquartered in the capital of Canada and Canada doesn't provide those same "free speech" protections. Surely you remember the last Federal election when a host of Canadian politicians lost the privilege to campaign for office because Canadians didn't appreciate their "free speech"? This alt-right movement has started a trade war with Canada because they now consider Canada a national security threat. This should really anger you right now, however, you are continuing to support this line of thinking? You have the ability to end this #DeleteShopify campaign before it gains international attention. Stand up for Canada and tell Donald Trump to end the trade war against Canada or else Shopify will cease doing business with the alt-right.
