The recent massive reduction by over 2/3 of allowable and covered medical cannabis by Veterans Affairs Canada to Veterans nationwide has not come into effect yet, but it is already causing harm to veterans and their families. 

Our prescribed medication has been revoked even after testimonies and scientific research conducted and provided by Licensed Producers proving that Medical Cannabis is changing and saving lives of Veterans. 

Our medication (medical cannabis) that is working and causing the least amount of harm to Veterans as a whole has been unnecessarily and unethically revoked solely due to financial reasons of the government. 

Our overall state of wellbeing and welfare  has increased substantially since being prescribed medical cannabis. Especially in comparison to the cocktails of medications that we previously being prescribed and leading to overdoses and suicides within the veteran and military community. 

This matter is of upmost importance as it has already begun to cause unnecessary fear amoung veteran patients and their families.

please help prevent the deterioration of veterans health and wellbeing by signing this petition and helping the government understand this recent choice that has been made in regards to our medication is causing severe harm not just to the veteran but to the family and communities. 

If this change remains from the allowable amount being 10grams a day to 3 grams a day, in addition to the price cap on our medications; there is a real fear that individuals will feel no other choice but to take their own life. 

Too many lives have been lost on our home soil, this number drastic number of susicdes has decreased since veterans have been allowed to switch from heavy pharmaceuticals to medical cannabis.
