What this is vs what this isn't -this is not a plea to change support -this I not an attack on single mothers - this is not an anti feminism movement -this has nothing to do with abusive parents -this has nothing to do with bum fathers What this has to do with Loving fathers. Good men. Equal rights. What I am asking is for laws that will grant equal custody time to each parent in seperation cases. An even playing field in co parenting cases that will support a healthy growing relationship with both parents involved. Every 2nd weekend is not an acceptable arrangement for most fathers but is the reality in most cases. Research has proven it's not in a child's interest to reside primarily with a mother, but courts/society have adapted this outdated practice and it needs to be stopped. Over 75% of custody cases are awarded to the mother. We're talking parents with similar income, similar housing, and similar schedules. This unbalance in power has been used and abuse for far to long, and it needs to be stopped. Selfish people are harming children, their co partners and it nerds to be stopped. We are currently part of a society that is more concern with where people go to the washroom, changing the lyrics to an anthem, And where pork should be placed in the grocery. Who should support this movement -Every single father who has suffered this great injustice. -every child who feels they were denied time to be part of both parents lives - every mother who knows the man their with would deserve this right if things were to happen -everyone who supports feminism because in definition thst means fighting for equal sex rights -every family member or friend who knows someone who knows someone in this situation We need someone to step in and say this is not right.
