It is time for Canada to eliminate the quarantine for travelers who are fully vaccinated whit Sinovac/Coronavac or any vaccine approved for emergency use by WHO.

In 2 weeks, we reached more than 4200 signatures, and it is great to see  all of the support that this important  petition has been received, as it shows how many people are impacted by this ban.

Most of the supporters just want to be able to be reunited with their loved ones, and most of them such as parents, received the Sinovac/CoronaVac vaccines, because the slogan around the world at the time was “the best vaccine is the one that you can get first”.

For this reason, people in different countries got the first available vaccine to fight against Covid, and now they are not eligible for traveling. If they are an immediate family member from a Canadian citizen or Permanent Residents, eligible to enter Canada and are fully vaccinated with vaccines that it are not approved by Canada they need to quarantine for 14 days, and most of them cannot book vacations for more than 2 weeks.

Canada only recognized 4 vaccines approved as an emergency use by WHO. On the other hand, some provinces in Canada such as Ontario and Alberta, People are considered fully vaccinated after receiving the full series of a COVID 19 vaccine or combination of COVID-19 vaccines approved by World Health Organization (e.g., two doses of a two-dose vaccine series, or one dose of a single-dose vaccine series).

In our neighbor the USA, travelers will be able to fly to the States if they've received shots of vaccines approved or recognized for emergency use by the World Health Organization.

Honorable Justin Trudeau, please take a moment and consider eliminating the quarantine for fully Sinovac/CoronaVac people who are entering in Canada.

Thank you again for all the support, and continue to share
