On April 7, 2017, 26-year-old Arianna Goberdhan my sister was murdered by her husband. Arianna was 9 months pregnant with her daughter Asaara and due to give birth any day.

Despite pleading guilty to his wife’s murder, under Canadian law Arianna’s husband will not be charged for his daughter’s murder.
