In light of the latest murder of an 88 year old woman,  beaten by her son....I would like to bring to awareness that parents have no protection when a mentally ill son/daughter turns against them.

I would like to understand how many times the police were called before the 88 year old mother was murdered. How many people knew of the rage the son carried for his mother and what options did they have to protect her? 

So now the son will sit in jail, our taxes will support him. Could he not have been in an institute prior to killing his mother? Or maybe years ago in the attempt to help him?

I have recently spoke to a lady that has submitted several anonymous tips about her neighbor that is in and out of psychotic episodes and gets very angry and abusive. Screams he wants to die. Police responded with "there is no criminal activity "

I have recently started this petition in hope to change things, hoping some day mothers will be able to call for real help, children with mental illness will truly be helped.
