Accused person, Billington Mwati Wambui  arraigned at the Nyeri High Court on charges of Murder Contrary to sections 203 as read with sections 204 on Thursday 18th August 2022 pleaded not guilty!

The prosecutor opposed all possible options of his release on bail or bond on grounds that he is a flight risk, has no fixed abode, posses a risk to the witnesses and is a repeat offender. Which was weighed on by an affidavit filed by a detective on the case.

The next court date is set for 28th of September 2022 with the courts directing the parties to file their submissions in 14 days.
