So The Trial Begins

Dear All an Update 

Accused 1 has indicated that he wishses to enter into a possible plea agreement with the State. The matter has been rolled to tomorrow for this purpose. Defence counsel will consult further today and provide the State with written details of the possible plea. Once received the State will consider the facts and decide if acceptable. If so, a formal plea and sentence agreement will be drafted and submitted to the court. All of this will probably take a few days. You will be kept updated.
