Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost should explain to residents exactly why he's prosecuting a woman for allegedly lying about being raped and why he wants to keep other women who say they've been raped from testifying at her trial.
Arguments in court filings made by a special prosecutor who works for Yost are disingenuous. Here's how Yost and his team, in those court documents, describe each of the three women who filed criminal raped complaints:
- One lied about being raped;
- one dreamed it up;
- and the third one wanted it.
That's as PIGGISH as we care to imagine it could be, and it makes us fear for all Ohioans.

LOW AND BEHOLD! . . . . . .
The phone rang this afternoon . . . and I was surprised at who was on the other end of the line. The alleged rapists attorney that works for the State of Ohio, that has been continually denying my right to testify in a court trial on behalf of the other alleged rape victim, Arica Waters.
- As a matter of fact, he has petitioned two different judges on this case so far, to not only keep my testimony out of this trial, but also that of a third woman who has accused the same man of rape as well.
- He has also been trying to keep the testimony out of court of an expert trauma witness, that the COURT ACTUALLY PAID FOR!
So far, I have tried to speak with the county prosecutor that was in charge of handling my case for nearly 3 months, but he has been completely out of reach. (A different prosecutor.) He will not speak with me, even though it is one of the laws in "Marsy's Law."
INSTEAD, I get a phone call from the one that is DEFENDING the alleged rapist!
While he "schmoozed" me on the phone, I got emotional from dealing with so much ever since I came forward about what happened to me in 2008. While he talked with me on the phone, he started verbally defending the alleged rapists hired private detective that made false allegations against me. I don't even know what to think of all of this! I'm ready for justice to be served, and for the truth to be had.
He has insisted that he doesn't want me to testify in court against his "VICTIM/RAPIST" . . . but wants to talk to me in private before the jury trial where they are on a "witch-hunt" for the other alleged raped woman. I'm so disgusted with the judicial system at this point! - Sharon Tyson-Tovar
