Taxpayers and grants paid for body cameras for all deputies and animal enforcement and all other deputies for the Wilson County Sheriff’s Department and their maintenance. If the agency is telling the truth, why not prove it? The entire purpose of the body cameras for law enforcement is for transparency. Right? Only the Wilson County DAs Office or the Wilson County Sheriff’s Department can request an SBI investigation into this messy matter. We know their department will not request it. So we ask that you call the Wilson County DAs Office at 252-206-3010 since there is no listed email address or email our Governor Roy Cooper on their website to request an investigation. There was absolute cause for being “disgruntled” at the way this was being handled!!!!! We have our proof, where is theirs?
