Petition updateJustice for the Surviving Cats of the Happy Cat Sanctuary FireLies, lies and more lies...
The No Kill Project, Inc.NY, United States
13 Jun 2025

EDIT TO ORIGINAL UPDATE: The picture above was taken in November of 2024. Due to the extensive injuries he sustained on the streets, this cat was left with scarring all over his body. On June 10, 2025 a recent image of this cat with his scarring prominently shown was used on Facebook in an attempt to discredit the caretaker and make it look like she allowed the cat to get to this condition claiming veterinary neglect. They made it seem like the scarring was due to ringworm. We eventually found this to be false.

The current incarnation of Happy Cat Sanctuary is no longer a safe haven for vulnerable cats. It has become a vehicle for its greedy leadership to line their pockets and fund personal agendas.

Chris’s dream has been abandoned. The cats who once trusted and loved him are now being used as pawns in their unethical actions.

We must not waver in our pursuit of justice.

We must continue working to ensure that Happy Cat Sanctuary is operated in a safe, ethical, and transparent manner.
