Whitewash from GlenWyvis Distillery

Despite huge public outcry the chairman of GlenWyvis Distillery declares 

“We have no grounds under our rules to expel members for activity unrelated to the society”

During his time as chairman of GlenWyvis Distillery Mr David O’Connor started 2 companies, Ross Shire Lettings ltd with the paid financial director Hazel Allen & Muir of Allangrange ltd which purchased Logie farm & developed it in a back door deal with O’Connors daughter becoming the ‘legal’ owner of Logie farmhouse. The distillery bank manager Neil Boyle occupied the McCullochs house as the O’Connors tenant.

An audit revealed these companies in 2019-both were the subject of litigation at Inverness Sheriff Court-nobody knew because Mr O’Connor who chaired meetings told nobody he was in business with the paid financial director of the business whom he was jointly being sued with at court.

This response is wholly unacceptable—more-so it must be progressed in parliament.
