On October 21st, we'll be delivering our petition to Number 10 Downing Street, home of the UK Prime Minister, along with a letter to Sir Keir Starmer, calling on him to take note of the huge support we've generated in the press, in parliament and of course here - with your backing.
We really hope that we can get to 50,000 signatures by then.
We'll also be holding a briefing for MPs in parliament. We decided to brief them, when we heard that defence ministers were planning a briefing without us, for MPs. Given that ministers and the Prime Minister have refused to meet or engage with us for 18 months, that smacks of them briefing against us. So we'll tell MPs the truth ourselves. It's going to be a huge and emotional day for us.
We are making huge progress. Last week, the Chief Constable of Police Service Northern Ireland supported our calls for a judge-led public inquiry and for the files to be made public - along with five other police and military organisations. That's massive for our campaign.
Thank you for your support. Please share our petition with ANYONE that you think might not have signed so far. We really hope we can reach our goal before we walk up Downing Street.
Thank you
The Chinook Justice families
