« Ce verdict n’est ni un coup de tête ni un coup de cœur, c’est un verdict inspiré de raison », a déclaré son avocate suisse, Me Yaël Hayat.
« Trop d’invraisemblances et de contradictions a conduit à un acquittement parfaitement logique en fait et en droit », a également indiqué l’avocat français de Tariq Ramadan, Me Philippe Ohayon.
Il recevra par ailleurs environ 151 000 francs suisses d’indemnités de l’État de Genève

Tariq Ramadan was acquitted of rape and sexual coercion by a Swiss court today
"This verdict is inspired by reason," said his Swiss lawyer, Yael Hayat.
"Too many implausibilities and contradictions led to a perfectly logical acquittal in fact and in law," said Tariq Ramadan's French lawyer, Philippe Ohayon.
He will also receive approximately 151,000 Swiss francs in compensation from the government of Geneva
