UN FRANC SUCCÈS POUR LA JOURNÉE INTERNATIONALE D’ACTION DE LA FREE TARIQ RAMADAN CAMPAIGN : DES RASSEMBLEMENTS DANS 26 VILLES DE PAR LE MONDE EXIGENT LE RESPECT DE LA PRÉSOMPTION D’INNOCENCE ET LA LIBÉRATION DE TARIQ RAMADAN
La journée internationale d’action exigeant le respect de la présomption d’innocence et la libération du professeur Tariq Ramadan a été un franc succès.
Dans plus de 26 villes à travers le monde, de l’Amérique du nord et du sud jusqu’en Asie en passant par l’Afrique et l’Europe des rassemblements ont été organisés devant les ambassades et les consulats de France en demandant un traitement égalitaire et juste de l’affaire Tariq Ramadan loin de toutes considérations politiques.
A l’image du message tant répété par le professeur, ces rassemblements se sont déroulés dans le calme, sans insultes ni menaces ou autres propos excessifs. Dans tous les pays les manifestants ont demandé à la France de respecter les valeurs de justice et d’égalité dont elle se réclame et qui ne sont clairement pas respectés dans le cas de Tariq Ramadan.
La Free Tariq Ramadan Campaign tient à remercier chaleureusement toutes les personnes, proches ou anonymes qui sont venues soutenir cette journée d’action.

SUCCESS AT INTERNATIONAL DAY OF ACTION
GATHERINGS IN 26 CITIES DEMAND DUE PROCESS, PRESUMPTION OF INNOCENCE AND FREEDOM FOR TARIQ RAMADAN
(July 20, 2018) The Free Tariq Ramadan Campaign would like to thank everyone who participated in making the International Day of Action - which demanded due process, respect for the presumption of innocence, and the immediate release of Professor Tariq Ramadan - a great success.
Over 26 cities across the globe, from North and South America to Asia, Africa, and Europe, hosted rallies in front of French embassies and consulates seeking fair and equitable treatment for Professor Ramadan.
These gatherings were held in a calm atmosphere, focusing on calls for justice without insults, threats, or other excessive remarks, and were in line with the values advocated by Professor Ramadan.
Demonstrators across these various countries asked France to honor the principles of justice and equality, which it claims to value, despite them clearly not being respected in the case of Tariq Ramadan.
Until these values are respected, we will not give up and we will not remain silent.
