Yesterday, a grand jury declined to indict the officers that killed my cousin Tamir. My family is disappointed and heartbroken, but we're also not surprised. From day one County Prosecutor Timothy McGinty has been manipulating the grand-jury process to orchestrate a vote against indictment. He has obviously been on the side of the police officer who, within two seconds, shot and killed a little boy as he played in a park. Thank you for your continued support. Knowing that thousands of people from around the country stood by us in calling for justice for Tamir has made this challenging time easier.
