I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving. Before the holiday, we delivered your petition signatures to the calling for the removal of Timothy McGinty from Tamir’s case. And after the holiday, we released two expert reports that show McGinty's reports distorted evidence and that killing of Tamir was "objectively unreasonable." When you deliberately disobey police practical training and police procedures and create dangerous situations you should be held accountable for your actions. McGinty has distorted the truth to fit his own needs. He has manipulated the Grand Jury process. All while knowing officers Timothy Loehmann and Frank Garmback disobeyed police practical training and police protocol. McGinty must recuse himself from this case and allow for a competent investigation of Tamir's death by a special Independent prosecutor. I further believe that based on the action of police officers Loehmann and Garmback they both should be immediately fired from their positions.
