Petition updateJUSTICE FOR SHANQUELLA ROBINSON! WE NEED ANSWERS! #ShanquellaRobinsonTHE MONSTER WHO UNALIVED QUELLA HAS ANSWERED -SHANQUELLA ROBINSON CASE UPDATE – JUNE 20, 2025
DANI ROBERTSONAE, United States
Jun 20, 2025

Defendant Emani Green, formerly known as Daejhanae Jackson, has officially responded to the federal wrongful death lawsuit filed by the estate of Shanquella Robinson.

According to the filing dated June 18, 2025, Green denies the allegations and challenges the case on multiple grounds. She claims that she was never properly served, stating that the summons was delivered to the wrong address and not received by her personally.

In addition, she argues that the claims against her lack merit and should be dismissed. One of her key defenses is that the allegedly statute of limitations for a wrongful death lawsuit has already expired.

Although the defendant claims the wrongful death case is time-barred, this is misleading. North Carolina law clearly provides a two-year statute of limitations for wrongful death actions, measured from the date of death. Shanquella Robinson passed away on October 29, 2022, and the estate filed the lawsuit on October 29, 2024, the final day within that legal window. Therefore, the filing was timely and fully compliant with state law. Any argument to the contrary is an attempt to avoid accountability, not a reflection of the actual statute or case timeline.

She also raises objections about the court’s jurisdiction and the appropriateness of the venue.

The lawsuit, filed in the Western District of North Carolina, includes the following claims:

Count I – Wrongful Death
Count II – Simple Battery
Count III – Negligence
Count IV – Civil Conspiracy
Count V – Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress
Count VI – Negligent Infliction of Emotional Distress

While this is not a dismissal, it is the first time Green has participated in the case by filing a response. The case remains active, and the court will now consider the motion and decide whether it proceeds to the next stage.

The estate of Shanquella Robinson continues to seek answers and accountability through legal channels. Public awareness and community pressure remain critical in supporting this effort.
