Dear Hoo Zoo,

Please stop the practice of euthanasia of seemingly healthy animals.  A lymphoma that is only diagnosed by autopsy means you euthanized who you presumed to be a healthy animal. Yes, animals grieve.  But there are sanctuaries that Hutch could have gone to.  Starsky was sick, but you zoothanized Hutch because of him grieving.  This gives the wrong message to people who grieve.  And animals do not necessarily have a sense of the afterlife.  So they may not “want to be together”.  I think you may have zoothanized a middle age (not old) animal because he was gay and thus inconvenient for breeding, thus not saleable.
