Hello all and thank you! Richards petition for Justice has officially passed 800 signatures and is going strong! 
Your support in signing, sharing and donating to this petition helps bring awareness to Richards case, as well as others like them. Police officers in the US have too much power with far too little training. Even after George Floyd’s case, which brought attention and more awareness to police brutality, profiling, and misconduct, the rates at which police are killing citizens continues to tick upward. Often those killed by police are mentally ill, struggling with addiction or homelessness. Our greatest hope in sharing Richard’s story is to help change the laws which allow police to be criminally exempt from accountability for their actions time and time again. Every signature on this petitions tells law makers that we will not stand for police handling human beings this way.
