Petition update

9/26: Craigslist Responds on company blog

Jim Buckmaster of Craigslist is trying to mislead people about his company's role in these violent incidents against animals. I'm not asking for the 'Pets' section to be shut down. I'm just asking that the current policy on pets be updated so re-homing animals is instead left to the expert shelters and rescue groups set up to do proper background checks.

It's important to note that Buckmaster doesn't deny that Puppy Doe was acquired through Craigslist before being tortured. More than 38,000 people so far have signed my petition at, and we are only growing in our call for Craigslist to make the responsible decision.
