Its been a while since our last update, but unfortunately there is no shortage of new negative stories involving pets and Craigslist ads. Classified sites like Craigslist provide an easy avenue for criminals to acquire, abuse and/or sell pets since there is zero regulation or accountability. The company banned its "Erotic Services" category in 2009 after being sued by several state attorneys general alleging that the category "facilitated" prostitution, yet by continuing to allow the pets category to be unregulated, they are potentially facilitating crimes against helpless animals, including being an avenue for backyard breeders to sell dogs and cats which contributes to the overpopulation crisis. Continue to tell them how you feel by signing this petition and joining our mission at www.FEND.ngo.
