We would like to thank everyone who has signed the petition and signed up on our website in support of our “secret” campaign to force Craigslist to stop facilitating the sale and rehoming of pets. As many of you know, our written requests to the CEO of Craigslist to voluntarily regulate the "Pets" category have all been met with a surprising level of opposition. We feel their unwillingness to meet us in discussion and the lack of respect they have shown our organization, and more importantly YOU, the now 406,000 people who have signed this petition, is unacceptable. The good news is this experience has provided us with ample motivation to continue our fight until a satisfactory resolution has been achieved. In the spirit of our commitment to innovation, we have come up with a unique way to "persuade" Craigslist back to the discussion table.
