By all accounts, she was finally getting her life in order again with the renewal of interest in Joe Di Maggio, as well as other positive factors. Accordingly, suicide is not an acceptable conclusion. Accidental overdose? – maybe! The scope of powerful men knows no boundaries, and her threats to the Kennedy’s to have them more accessible would have had alarm bell ringing in their ears. At least, they didn’t do a ‘Jimmy Hoffa’ on her. In Australia, we have Coroner’s Inquests, and they can be held years later if relevant facts are unearthed. No stone is left unturned, and subpoenas can be issued to our Prime Minister, if necessary. No one has Executive Privilege here. I will be interested in how your petition goes. Expect lots of stonewalling.
