November 24, 1985 The Los Angeles County Grand Jury has decided against reopening the investigation into the death of actress Marilyn Monroe, according to a statement released by jury Foreman Charles T. Richardson. The grand jury's Criminal Justice Committee for several weeks had been considering a request from the Board of Supervisors to initiate another probe of the Miss Monroe's drug overdose death on Aug. 5, 1962. Speculation about the circumstances surrounding Miss Monroe's death, which was officially ruled a suicide, has been fueled by the recent publication of a book and magazine articles suggesting the blonde sex symbol had been carrying on affairs with both President John F. Kennedy and Atty. Gen. Robert F. Kennedy. On the recommendation of the Criminal Justice Committee, the grand jury last Monday formally voted against conducting a new investigation, Richardson's statement said. This was 33 years ago and there has been more evidence since that time, so we must continue to share this petition in order to get more signatures. Please help me do this!
