There have been so many stories about the death of Marilyn Monroe since that horrible day of August 5, 1962. Stories have said, Eunice Murray, Norman Jeffries and Marilyn are relaxing and having a calm "family" evening eating Jiffy-Pop popcorn, drinking Pepsi-Cola and watching NBC Saturday Night At The Movies. Other’s have said she spent her final night alive at Frank Sinatra’s Cal Neva. “This is where the rich and elite use to go and this was their private playground,” said Weige, tour director of Cal Neva. And then of course there is the Mob, CIA, J. Edgar Hoover, the Kennedy’s, the Gangster Squad, and the infamous Dr. Ralph Greenson. Pat Newcomb was said to have stayed the night with Marilyn because Marilyn invited Pat to dine out with her. Pat, however, was suffering a bout of bronchitis— to which Marilyn replied, "Why don't you come out here and stay for the night? The most important thing that has never changed in over 53 years is the people involved, the time frame of events and the real manner of death. MURDER! My grandfather Louie was in a gang and later in the mob. (not proud to say but he did change his life later) During the latter half of the 19th century, Hell’s Kitchen was notorious haven for gangs who prowled, “the tenements, speakeasies, slaughter houses, lumberyards and railroad yards” that employed a huge immigrant population. It was the home of the “The Hudson Duster’s” and Louie’s life. The Duster’s had operations in tenement houses on streets like Bethune and Hudson. Kid Yorke, Cirular Jack and Goo Knox (who left the Gophers) founded the Duster’s. The gang consisted of young boys, some even under 10 years old who would assist the older members in theft, mugging and murder. Louie left Hell’s kitchen in 1938, arrived in Hollywood and worked on a movie with James Cagney, “The Mayor of Hell.” He then worked around the studios as a runner and ran into comedian Maury Amsterdam who took a liking to Louie. Amsterdam had been friends with Al Capone so he was able to get Louie a job at Capone’s house in Miami Beach. Louie hung out with Al Capone, Lucky Lucino, and the rest of the mob. He even became involved with the La Cosa Nostra. We talked about Marilyn Monroe several times and my grandfather continually told me that Marilyn Monroe was not killed by the mob, Lucky Lucino or any other gangster. According to my grandfather, the mob had no reason to kill Marilyn. The mob and Robert Kennedy were at odds and they would never have killed Marilyn for Kennedy. The mob had no reason to kill Marilyn. Louie stated that Marilyn was never seen around Al Capone’s place or with Lucky Lucino. He did say, A matter of fact, her name was never even spoken about until after she was killed. The word around the mob was Marilyn was murdered by Robert Kennedy and his guys. As far as the mob were concerned, Marilyn Monroe was just another beautiful actress who got involved with the wrong man.
