I will update and attempt a little clarification. It breaks my heart to report ,Yes, sadly, little Aspen is still out there lost!! Part of the tragedy of this situation is Autumn lost crucial time and spent five days searching for her baby in the wrong area. Autumn thought Aspen had disappeared from her home area, not knowing that she had been dumped over 5 miles away. 

It wasn’t until Autumn contacted the police with her suspicions of the Dardis involvement that she learned of this. The officer reported to Autumn that Breanna Dardis had set loose or dumped a cat in the Walmart area on Jonathan Moore Pike. In addition, Breanna Dardis messaged Autumn, (messages that Autumn still have) telling her that she had set loose or dumped a cat that looked like Aspen behind the Walmart on Jonathan Moore Pike. 

How could you realize that someone was agonizing over their missing precious kitten and not share this ?!!!

Anyone that knows Autumn would have to know how much animals mean to her, because she fosters cats!!!

Also, we received the police report today, which leaves more questions than answers. 

It addressed the taking of a feline, but did NOT address the dumping or setting loose of an animal. This will have to be looked into. 

Folks, let’s not let this be a repeat of a previous Animal case, Thor 2019. In this case the dog was left malnourished for around two years, while the previous prosecutor declined to press charges for an extended period of time.  Thor’s picture is one of the most pitiful things you’ll ever seen in your life!! (If anyone needs any information on this previous case, there are many people that are willing to share this information with you).

It is time for us to stand up for animals in this area now!!!
