Dear Petition Signers,

The Johnson family is urging our community to take immediate action regarding the investigation into the tragic death of Faith Johnson. They have sent the following message:

"To Whom It May Concern,

My name is Bryon Johnson, and I am the father of Faith Johnson. Faith was the child involved in the tragic incident at NREP on February 18, 2025, during which her GJ tube became dislodged, ultimately leading to her death. The case number for this matter is #25000927, and the assigned investigator is S.T. Ricketts.

I am writing to formally request that S.T. Ricketts be removed from this investigation due to a clear conflict of interest. Mr. Ricketts was present at the scene during the incident, which we believe compromises his ability to conduct an impartial investigation. Additionally, his wife, who is employed at NREP, was also present, having entered the room where Faith was after the incident occurred. Furthermore, his wife contacted my wife via Facebook following the incident, and we have preserved this communication as evidence.

My wife and I wish to follow the appropriate chain of command, but we are unsure of the correct procedure or whom to contact regarding this matter. We respectfully ask that this conflict of interest be taken seriously and that another deputy be assigned to ensure a thorough, unbiased investigation. It is imperative that all parties involved, including S.T. Ricketts and his wife, are properly questioned.

Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter. We look forward to your prompt response and guidance on the next steps.

Sincerely,

Bryon Johnson"

The Johnson family is calling on the community to:

  1. Contact the authorities to demand a fair and transparent investigation into Faith's death.
  2. Put pressure on them to acknowledge and address the conflict of interest outlined by Mr. Johnson.
  3. Share the petition with three (3) more people. If every one of us shares this, our collective voice will be amplified, and we can ensure that Faith's case receives the attention and justice it deserves.

Your support is crucial in holding those responsible accountable and preventing future tragedies. Let's stand with the Johnson family and demand action.
