Wow! We picked up traction again! We hit a thousand signatures tonight! 

I appreciate every one of you, I'll admit that I was starting to lose hope on this petition, as we sat at around 930-960 signatures for a long time. But thanks to some help from some friends we were able to get this up and moving again! 

Now we need to take the next step and brainstorm what can be done. I was able to read some comments, but for some reason Change will not let me respond to them, so I am going to put my email at the end of this update, and if anyone has any questions or recommendations for the next step to take you can contact me directly.

My heart breaks every time I get an update on Nevada Humane Society, and within the last year I actually had re applied at animal control and I did not get re-hired on there. A big part of me is wondering if it is because myself (and many others) have been open about the wrongdoings of NHS, and believe me when I tell you that animal politics are nasty.

 I am hoping that this can start to pick up more, and that we can FINALLY get someone suitable into the position of CEO at NHS, because these animals deserve it, and they deserve to have the chance to find a home even if they may not be the most "desirable" pet.
