The UK now have a Labour Government.

One of their key manifesto pledges is to tackle anti-social behaviour.

A large percentage of hate crimes experienced by Disabled people happen in or near the home. It is often treated as anti-social behaviour. This means Disabled victims of hate crime do not get access to justice. The offenders are not punished or prosecuted.

Without parity and clarity in UK law, hate crimes against us will continue to happen without any consequence for the offender.

I want to live in a society that abhors violence and abuse and does everything it can to provide a legal framework so every UK citizen can feel protected and safe.

Having parity and clarity in hate crime legislation in the UK is a move in the right direction, will you share this with your colleagues, friends and families so we can get more support?
