Dear Supporters,

We wanted to share an important development in our ongoing fight for a healthier and fairer workplace culture. Following the tragic death of 26-year-old Anna Sebastian Perayil, who worked at EY India, the company has publicly acknowledged the impact of workplace stress and has pledged to create a more "harmonious workplace." EY India’s Chairman, Rajiv Memani, expressed deep regret over the loss and has committed to ensuring such an incident never happens again.

While this acknowledgment is a step forward, it is only a small part of what needs to be a larger transformation across all workplaces, especially within high-stress industries like consulting. EY's public promise shows the power of collective voices and actions, but we need to ensure that this is followed by real, measurable changes that prevent another tragedy like this.
