Dylan Myers was sentenced to 25 years in the Department of Corrections with 5 years probation today. This wrongful conviction has now cost him a significant chunk of the rest of his life. 

There is no justice in this conviction. The judge himself said that without being convicted of the other two charges of battery, this charge would not stand. He would have had to have been found guilty of the battery, or all 3 for a conviction to be allowed. 

Why did the court allow this conviction?

Detective Long and Joseph Buser had no comment when asked what their next step is with this case. With Dylan being found not guilty of battery, Charlie's abuser is still at large and the state knows this. 

Joseph Buser is willfully failing to prosecute a child abuser.
