Share the Petition for Alex Today!!!

We just passed half a million signatures. Thank you all so much for supporting Alex through this petition! I started this petition because I’m also an RN and even though I live far away from Utah, I know what nurses go through everyday to just do our jobs, keeping patients safe, and save lives. When I saw what happened to Alex, I had to speak up. Our voices are working. This happened to Alex months ago and the only reason Detective Payne was finally put on administrative leave was because the video was released now and the public could see how a member of law enforcement acted as he was above the law. It’s clear that with all of this attention, the Salt Lake City Police Department is rightfully feeling pressure to hold Detective Payne accountable and to prevent this from happening again.
