Mr. Cortez had a Housing Court conference this past Thursday. The judge heard from both sides (Legal Aid for Mr. Cortez and the developer’s attorney). We were hoping she would reinstate the Eviction Stay while the case in the Appellate Court ran its course. Unfortunately, that did not happen.

The judge scheduled the eviction trial to commence on January 17th, 2025 at 9:30am.

We’re asking for supporters to email elected representatives in hopes of re-opening the original fraud case. We need your help.
