Last week Mr Cortez was interviewed by David Brand from The Gothamist for their follow-up article detailing his ongoing situation.

At the moment there is a temporary stay on the eviction while Housing Court reviews motions presented by his attorneys.

Thankfully, it looks like the Attorney General's Office is finally looking into his case.
